Intro to Dr. Lindsay Seyer

Dr. Lindsay Seyer

Ever since I was a child, I wanted to be a vet. In fact, when I was 8 years old, I painted a self-portrait in art class about what I wanted to be when I grew up, and you guessed it—that painting is of a vet! Flash forward 30 years, and I’m now a Board-Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist. It’s truly been a dream come true.

When I opened Visionary Vet Services in Southwest Florida, I wanted to make taking care of your pet more human. Privately owned quality care for their eyes. After all, your furry friend is family, so you should give them the same level of care as you would yourself.

I offer a variety of services at my offices in Fort Myers and Port Charlotte, such as:

  • In-Depth Eye Health Assessment

  • Advanced Retinal Testing

  • Glaucoma Treatment and Risk Assessment

  • Specialized Blood Health Screening

  • Ophthalmic Pathogen Detection

  • Blood Pressure Screening

  • Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) Eye Exams

  • Consults for Veterinarians

  • Ocular Procedures and Surgery

This stuff may be difficult to understand through a computer screen, so let’s chat in person. My approach is personal to you and your pet to make sure every animal gets the best care possible.

I’ve been overwhelmed by the support, trust, and kindness of our clients, patients, and referring veterinarians in Southwest Florida. I would love to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has made this journey so special.

Why are my dog’s eyes cloudy?

This is a common question that many pooch parents have. You come into the vet office thinking your dog has cataracts, but that may not actually be the case. There are other conditions that make your dog’s eyes cloudy, especially if your dog is getting older.
